Ford, Jeep, Hyundai among vehicle recalls this week

The U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has listed recalls for May 19-26, including a Ford recall involving 310,203 F Series trucks and a Hyundai recall involving 239,000 cars. Jaguar Land Rover North Americais recalling 19 2022 New Range Rovers. Due to improperly tightened fasteners, the front crash sensors may become loose and malfunction. Read more

Mercedes-Benz USA, LLC (MBUSA) is recalling certain 2021 GLB 250 vehicles. The level sensor linkage on the rear axle might not have been installed properly, which could affect the headlight leveling function. 88 units are affected. Read more

Mitsubishi Motors North America is recalling 2,865 2022 Outlander vehicles. The Automatic Locking Retractor in the right front, second-row right and second-row left seat belt assemblies may deactivate before the seat belts are fully retracted, which can result in an unsecured child restraint system. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 208, "Occupant Crash Protection." Read more

Gulf States Toyota is recalling 661 2022 4Runner, Tacoma, Highlander and Highlander Hybrid vehicles. The load-carrying capacity modification labels may not be permanent and can fade, becoming illegible. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 110, "Tire Selection and Rims." Read more
