The 5k run and 1 mile walk is on Saturday April 21st. All money will benefit the abc 25 foundation, a non profit volunteer organization that raises funds for innovative learning initiatives that are not otherwise supported in the classroom! The 2018 landscape waste collection season starts April 2nd and goes until December 14th. If you are planning on putting bags out you are required to have a Landscape waste sicker which retail for 2.70 each and can be purchased at the village hall and the senior center.
Have a bike that doesn’t fit you or it isn’t your style? Well, if you do, head on over to the Annual bike sale at Centennial park in Arlington Heights. You can sell your bike and even get a new one! It will be held on Saturday, April 28th. If you are going to sell your bike, Please pre-register with the link down below. ALL BIKES MUST BE PRE-REGISTERED. Bike Drop Off for sellers is from 8:00 am to 9:15 am. Sales are cash only and sales will be held from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. Bicycles that are not sold will be picked up at 2:30pm. 10% of all sales goes to AH Bicycle Club.

The event is free of charge. If you are planning to go, each vehicle can only bring six legal file-sized boxes or paper bags. Some of the items accepted are Video game consoles, toasters, cameras but things like CD’s, vacuum cleaners and humidifiers will not be accepted.
